(WCCO) In fairness to Tim Brewster, his true ability to recruit won't happen until next year. The vast majority of students who signed to the University of Minnesota Wednesday morning had committed for Glen Mason. One of the exceptions was Brewster's middle son, Clint, who did have a change of heart after his dad got the Gophers job. Clint Brewster, a quarterback, had verbally committed to Illinois, but took his official visit last weekend to the University of Minnesota. After that, he decided to come and play for his father at Minnesota. He signed his national letter of intent at Mullen High School in southwest Denver, Colo., and talked about why he is coming to Minnesota."We're really tight you know and at first, we wanted to go our separate ways you know and then we talked about it after he got the job and you know, we, we wanted to be together," Clint Brewster said.
